ADVISORY BOARD INAUGURAL CHAIR

Chief Operating Officer and member of the Capital City Bank executive management team, Beth Corum's primary responsibilities include overseeing the commercial lending, retail market management, wealth management, information technology, loan and deposit operations, facilities management and information security departments, as well as the disaster recovery and human resources talent development functions. Under her leadership, Capital City Bank has been recognized as a Best Place to Work by Florida Trend magazine annually since 2012, as well as a Best Place to Work by Georgia Trend magazine and a Best Bank to Work for by the American Banker every year since 2013.  


Corum holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin College of Humanities and a master's degree from Florida State University. She is a dedicated community advocate and currently serves as a director of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, United Way of the Big Bend and the Community Foundation of North Florida. She is chairman of the Children's Home Society of North Florida, a trustee for the Florida Bankers Educational Foundation and past chairman of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Corum is a Leadership Tallahassee and Leadership Florida graduate.

 

Corum is recipient of the 2019 Julian V. Smith Award, an honor reserved for the Capital City Associate who embodies a spirit of volunteerism and selflessly gives of his or herself for the benefit of others. She was named Tallahassee's 2019 Woman of the Year by Tallahassee Woman magazine and received a Pinnacle Award from 850 Business Magazine.
